Regional Project-Based Learning Curriculum Specialist

Full time: Anne Arundel, Queen Anne’s and Worcester Counties

CECEI is seeking to hire a Curriculum Specialist who will support teachers’ implementation of the CSW and CEW curricula in the State of Maryland. Specifically, CECEI is seeking a full-time Specialist regionally located to work with programs mostly in Anne Arundel, with 3 in Queen Anne's and 1 in Worcester (Berlin) counties. 

Curriculum Specialists will be part of the CDW professional development team and work directly with teachers in their assigned region of the state who are implementing either CSW or CEW for the first time. Responsibilities include virtual and on-site observations, facilitation of a professional learning community for a cohort of teachers, one-on-one professional development consultations, familiarity with the curricula resources, and collaborating with the CECEI team to plan and deliver ongoing professional development webinars. Specialists will work with program administrators to ensure support for teachers, as well as collect, analyze and report on teacher-specific data relative to strengths and areas for continued growth. This opportunity is a contractual position. Continuation is dependent upon performance and funding.

Student Research Assistants

All Student RAs will enroll in an approved independent study or similar course and their hours in the Center will count toward course credits. Typically, 10 RA hours per week equals 3 course credit hours. Student RAs must cover the cost of tuition for this course.

Communications Assistant/General

Technology Research Assistant

CECEI is seeking a Research Assistant who will primarily assist with app and web development projects. The app is on iOS and Android and helps families connect with what their children are learning at school and offers activities and resources.
