We provide diagnostic testing and assessment for children, students, and adults. The Psychological and Educational Evaluation and Research (PEER) Clinic has been subsumed under the new COE-CARES Psychological Center, but will continue to offer their high-quality care to the community through COE-CARES.

Please note that that COE-CARES Psychological Center is not taking new clients at this time.

A typical assessment case includes an intake interview, a few sessions of testing (this varies depending on diagnostic question and availability of both clinician and client), a feedback session to explain results, and a typed assessment report of your results, interpretation, and diagnosis (if applicable).

Diagnostic questions can range, but we can test for issues such as learning disabilities, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, emotional concerns, and cognitive problems. We accept re-testing cases, but do not conduct forensic evaluations or child custody evaluation cases.

For accurate diagnostic results, we require anyone testing to abstain from using any substances (i.e., drugs such as marijuana or cocaine) for the last six weeks and throughout the testing evaluation. Research has shown these substances affect testing results.
